  1. * * * NEW FOLKSPELLER DICTIONARY * * *    JANUARY 19,1987

  3. The original issue of the FolkSpeller program contained a
  4. dictionary with 1000+ words in it. The intent was to provide a
  5. user with the spelling checker shell program, and allow him to
  6. build his own custom dictionary. Registration included the option
  7. of purchasing a 30,000+ word dictionary for those that did not
  8. want to spend the time verifying words.
  9.  
  10. We are now including, for the user's benefit, a 9000+ word
  11. dictionary with the shareware program FolkSpeller.  The
  12. 30,000+ word FolksWare Dictionary is still available under the
  13. same terms as described in the documentation. The future plans
  14. include expanding this dictionary to 50,000 words, with
  15. registered users able to update for a minimal diskcopying charge.

  17. Please update your disk in the library to include this new
  18. FSPELL.DCT dictionary, and make it available to any one who has
  19. received an earlier version.
